Indeed Laboratories Skincare Review

Monday, November 20, 2017

Good Monday, everybody! Since I had so much fun writing my last post, (which you can check out here), I'm back with another skincare review for you guys! This time I've been working closely with 'Indeed Laboratories' and I was so excited when they sent me two of their products suited specifically for my skin. When asked for my skin type, I explained to them how I had recently broken out in spots due to the change of weather, and they were kind enough to send me 'Nanoblur' and 'Hydraluron.' Here are my first impressions with the product;

Both products arrived in a separate box, as opposed to just the tube. Both boxes were bright in colour (a vivid orange and hot pink!) and I believe if I were to spot this brand in a drug store, it would certainly catch my eye! The packing contained all the information I needed to know, including a brief description of the product, directions, 'the goods' and, of course, the ingredients.

Developed to provide high definition ready skin in seconds, this unique skin perfecting finishing cream uses light diffusing technology to create flawless, camera-ready skin anywhere, anytime!

The first time I used nanoblur was before a night out in Belfast. My skin had been playing up for a little while and not even my Fenty foundation could cover my bumps and redness. Once I had applied my foundation and then contoured, just like the directions say, I gently patted nanoblur over my chin and cheeks. There was no strong smell to the product and it was clear in colour, which was nice to know it didn't contain a lot of unnecessary ingredients. I didn't apply my loose powder immediately, instead let the product dry and sink into my skin a little bit. It didn't feel sticky, but perhaps a little wet to begin with. Once I had finished my make-up, it did look like it had worked a little bit, but perhaps not as much as I had thought. Fast forward a few hours, when I caught myself in the bathroom mirror of the nightclub, I noticed my skin looked a lot smoother and not red in colour at all.

Overall, I think this is a great product that doesn't show immediate results, but over an hour or two your skin will start to look much smoother and less red in colour. I don't like putting so much product over my skin as I feel it almost traps my pores and my skin can't breathe, but I have no problem with applying this product as it is very light-weight and doesn't feel thick or tacky on my skin.

A facial moisture boosting serum containing one of the purest forms of hydrolic acid.

Serum is probably my favourite skincare product to use and I cannot live without it! So many people I know don't use serum before applying their moisturiser and I really don't understand how. I've been using Nip and Fab's Dragon's Blood serum for the past year and I swear by it! It makes my skin feel fairly plump but my only concern is the texture of it. It's very sticky and thick and takes a long time to dry, meaning I can't apply my moisturiser quickly after.

I was excited to switch my usual serum for 'Hydraluron,' although a little worried the change would affect my skin. I tested the product out on my hand first as soon as it arrived in the mail. Just like the nanoblur, it was clear in colour and free from any strong, perfume-like smells. I had also done a lot of research beforehand of ingredients that help with clearing problem skin, and hydrolic acid was always top of the list.

When I applied the product, it was so smooth on my skin, almost velvet-like. A little bit of serum went a long way and it wasn't sticky on my skin at all. It almost felt like I was applying a primer to my face. Overall, I really love this serum, and I am seeing a slight improvement in my skin. I have only been using the product for over a week now, so it is hard to give a full review as it does take time to see results! Stay tuned for an update!

I have really loved reviewing these two products from 'Indeed Laboratories.' Both products are very unique, and I have never seen a product like 'Nanoblur' before. I believe it will soon be a must for your make-up routine! Keep an eye out for these products in Boots and don't forget to check out their website HERE! You can also get 15% off your first product, so don't miss out!

Have a fabulous week,
