I have been really excited to share this post with everyone, as not only did I get to attend a really epic fashion show this week, but I managed to capture it all on camera to mark the beginning of a new chapter in my blogging journey - vlogging! So, let me first tell you about the fashion show I attended in Belfast and then you can watch it all at the bottom of the post!
I have been a fan of Nor Lisa's designs ever since I first seen them at Belfast Fashion Week. I see a lot of modern designs on the runway, and don't get me wrong, I LOVE modern and futuristic styles, but it is sometimes refreshing to see some classic, elegant designs take to the catwalk.
I was so surprised to learn Nor Lisa actually designs and hand-makes each and every dress herself! The detailing is incredible and the dresses are just beautifully crafted. One of my personal favourites was a plunging black gown with beautiful detailing on the bodice. It was so rich and looked as though it was ready to walk the red carpet. Keep an eye out for it in the vlog!
I'm always unsure of what to wear to these types of events. I love to dress up and experiment, but this time I wanted to go for a 'casual-cool' look. I braided half of my hair and pulled it to one side, and I kept my make-up dark and minimal, opting for a 'Ginger Spice' eye shadow (considering it's officially Autumn/Fall!). Anyone who knows me knows I am obsessed with DNCE's 'Cake by the Ocean' (best song ever, ok?!), so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to wear my new t-shirt that I just received from 'My Delicious Tees.' What did you guys think of my simple outfit of choice?
