Whether you follow Kylie Jenner on Instagram, or you can't stop stalking her Twitter, you just cannot seem to avoid her endless amount of daily selfies.
It seems as though Miss. Jenner has started quite the trend - big, luscious pouts! Girls from all over are going insane for this 90's inspired beauty trend. MAC stores up and down the country are selling out of lipstick and liner fast, (I know this from my own experience, but we'll get to that part later).

I must admit, I'm a sucker for big lips, so what better way to kick off my first ever post with a little beauty tutorial?! I've listed the products used below;
  • MAC satin lipstick, Faux - £15.50
  • MAC lip pencil, Dervish - £12.50
  • Soap & Glory, Sexy Mother Pucker XL Extreme Plump - £10.00
  • Maybelline Colour Drama, Nude Perfection - £4.99
According to online sources, Kylie uses MAC lip liner in the shade 'Whirl.' Unsurprisingly, MAC had sold out on this shade, so I purchased the next best thing, 'Dervish.' This shade is a little more natural than whirl, therefore I can wear it on a day-to-day basis.

1) Before applying any product, I always like to scrub my lips using my toothbrush. This step is completely optional, but I do believe, if you have the time, it will create a fuller look for longer! Once you have wet your toothbrush, gently scrub your lips for 30-40 seconds. Scrubbing your lips will not only get rid of dry or flaky skin, it actually rushes the blood to your lip, which will not only naturally plump them, but give them a little bit of colour! Be careful not to scrub too hard, though!

2) Soften your lips using a lip balm or Vaseline. I tend to use 'EOS Organic Lip Balm Pomegranate Raspberry,' because it lasts forever and it taste delicious!

3) Using your MAC lip pencil, softly begin line your lips, as close to the natural lip line as possible. Use gentle, feathery strokes. To achieve a fuller look, over line on the middle top and bottom.

4) This step is optional, although I do believe it makes a difference. Using my Maybelline lip pencil, I begin to blend in the sides of my lips, top and bottom, with the lip liner. Don't go all the way into the middle when doing so.

5) Using a dabbing technique, you want to create a layer of MAC satin lipstick on your lips. Do not stroke the lipstick onto your lips or dab heavily, as we want this to blend naturally and still keep the colour from the lip pencil. You want to make sure the lipstick blends in well with the liner and pencil, you can use your finger to even this out.

6) I like to finish my lips off with a lip plumper to achieve that final fuller look. The product I'm using is a XL plump, and this can sting a little! Soap & Glory recommend you try a couple of tubes of 'Original Strength' before going extreme!

So there you go, you can now re-create Kylie's plump pout! This is super easy and I must warn you, it can become addictive! So get your liner out and get ready to spam Instagram with lip selfies! Oh, and don't forget to tag me in them, @dollybites

Let me know what you think in the comments!

    1. Hi Anna! I would sub you back, but I can't seem to find your follow button? I can only see the follow button for Google+ which I've already followed? Let me know and I'll gladly follow you. Hmm, I'm not sure about the buttons. I bought my template online and the social media buttons came with it! If you can find a HTML link for them online for free that should work?
